"I called
Austin HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and they were able to come out the same day to fix my AC unit. I work from home but have appointments to go to and asked to be called an hour in advance so that I could make sure someone was able to meet them if I were unavailable. I was notified of when the technician would arrive and he showed up at that time. He took the time to explain to me what he was going to do to repair the unit and was very fast. My AC was up and running like normal within 30 minutes. The unit had some damaged wires and he rewired with good wires. I am so glad it was an easy fix and the technician was honest about the fix so I didnt have to spend thousands on a new unit. I will use

again.

"I have had a problem with dust in my house since I purchased it. The technician that came out to inspect my system was on time and very professional. He provided me with several solutions to the issues I was having and gave me his recommendation. The technicians that came out to do the actual work were also on time and very professional. They cleaned up everything after they completed the work and walked me through everything they did to make sure they completed it to my satisfaction. Since they completed the work, I have seen a significant reduction of dust, Everyone that I talked to was highly professional and I will be using them again in the future.

"I wasn't present for the appointment, so I asked my mother to be there. She said that he spent most of the time trying to sell an attic UV anti-mold/mildew system and seemed to do a cursory check of the AC unit. I believe no actual service was done, but that the inspection was likely standard. "

"The house call went very well: gthe provider arrived on time after calling earlier to assure me that he would be arriving in the next 10-15 minutes. He got right to work upon arrival and climbed the pull down stairs to access the attic which houses the furnance. He completed his maintenance tasks effciently and gave me a full account on what he found when checking the furnance and what he had done to ensure it was in safe and efficient operating condition. I will contact his company soon to check out the air conditioning system even tho this service will not be offered as a "deal" as was the furnace maintenance."

"City of
Austin HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
(COA) Came out and replaced our thermostat. They said if the heater still had problems after that, that the issue was not with the COA issued thermostat that it was a problem with our heater. Our heater stopped working again so we contacted our home warranty who sent out
Austin HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained everything in
Austin HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
's terms to my husband. I told him what COA said and he thoroughly checked my heater and stated that nothing was wrong with it. So he checked our thermostat and it wasn't working properly. The issue was with the new thermostat. He filed the claim with the home warranty and replaced it for us. Heater works perfectly now. The cost was our $75 copay for our home warranty.

"Called them at 8 a.m. after our furnace stopped working on a very cold night. While they initially told me they could not get to me until the following day, they called me back shortly thereafter. The technicians arrived at 11 a.m. and quickly diagnosed the problem. They had the unit repaired and operating again and were gone all within 20 minutes. They were courteous and professional.

"Everything was okay, as usual. Technician changed filter after checking inside and outside heating and a/c units. This company replaced my old heating/ac unit several years ago. At that time, I checked price and service reviews with other companies, and was satisfied that A/C Specialists were still my best choice. Only once was a technician called back after a seasonal check, and he corrected a minor problem with no charge to me. After 18 years with this company, I find the office staff are almost like neighbors, and the technicians even know my cats and 35-year-old car. Although that's not an indication of the quality of their service, it's just a little lagniappe for me. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

"The ARS technician came out, and told my tenant that the unit was dangerous, throwing out open flames, that it was old and needed to be replaced. My tenant called me and I spoke with the tech who repeated this to me. I asked for an estimate and he said that the home office would call me that same day. I said that I would call my AC/Heating guy and compare estimates, and possibly use them if they were competitive. Later that day I was called by ARS who gave me an estimated cost for heating unit replacement at $2500, and again restated that the unit was old, not repairable and needed to be replaced. I received a call later that evening from my tenant that my AC guy had come out, fixed the unit and everything was working again. I called my AC guy and he said that all that was wrong was a defective in-line fuse, which he corrected. I asked him if he knew of any reason if the unit needed to be replaced, or was on it's last legs and he said that it was an old GE unit, but didn't see any reason to replace it.
I did receive a written estimate via email from ARS regarding the unit's problems, along with different financial plans ranging from $2500 (heating only) to $6662 (entire system).
Description:
"Thermal limit for gas valve has opened due to flame roll out from heat ex changer. Furnace needs to be replaced."
There was no charge from ARS for their service call.
The cost to that my AC guy charged to fix the unit: $60 service call.
I plan on calling ARS to speak with a supervisor about this and may possibly update this evaluation.

"Tech presented a very thorough analysis. He provided a written report. At the time, I could not afford his recommendations, so I did not purchase his services.
