"I have been going to Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
for years and I will continue to see her as long as I live in
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. She is very thorough and honest with me.My husband who grew up in sunny southern Calif. has many precancerous moles and she has caught all of them before they turned into cancer. He always says, "she's saved my life"!"

"He was thorough and good. His staff was also knowledgeable and helpful. They weren’t pushing anything, but when I said I used one product, they asked me whether I had tried another. They looked over my products that I brought in and were very helpful with that. He is my dermatologist."

"His service is really great and he was spot on with his diagnosis. The prescriptions he recommended cleared me up really fast. The staff there is really nice and personable. You don't feel like you're being run in and run out. I would highly recommend him and continue to use him in the future."

"She's very friendly, very thorough. Easy to get an appointment. I feel comfortable with her. I've had to deal with skin care, and you don't feel embarrass with her. And I do trust her.Overall it's a pretty good experience with her."

"She has a great bedside manner and she is very easy to relate to. She explains what is going on and she gives you your options and her recommendations. She is a very good doctor and she has worked on both of my kids and my wife and me. She is hard to get an appointment with and I always get in on stand by and see if she might be available that day if I am lucky. I will continue to use her services in the future. "

"I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and learned that the new patient paperwork I had to fill out could have been downloaded online beforehand. I would recommend this, as the new patient paperwork is very extensive and wished they would have informed me of this when I made the initial appointment by phone. It took at least 15 minutes to go through the required reading and fill out the new patient forms. It was somewhat difficult to determine what services I needed and ultimately went for what I thought was some sort of 'checkup' bundle. Getting some information on what sort of price to expect was also a little bit of a hassle as is the case with most medical providers.

Approximately 15 minutes after my appointment time I was finally let in the office room. I was given some loose fitting shorts to wear during the inspection, change into them, and waited for quite a while before I was seen by the doctor. My actual appointment started approximately 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time.

The full body inspection was very thorough (and definitely not for the modest, the shorts come off). Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
identified five moles that he wanted biopsied. The removed the moles during the same office visit and the procedure went very quickly. The inspection and the removal took no more than 30 minutes.

The office and Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
provide a lot of literature on exactly why and what they do regarding services, tips on skin care, and instructions on post-operation wound care. When you leave, you will know exactly what you had done and why. The doctor is also very informative about what he is looking for during the inspection process, and you'll know more about moles than your average person by the time you get out of there.

It took quite a while for the fees to go from being submitted to insurance to the point to when I actually received a bill. The bill including the checkup, the removal of five moles and the biopsy of five moles came out to a hair under $800 which was a little higher than I expected.

"I just moved to town and I have a severe case of psorisis. Luckily mine is under control right now. I saw
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
the physician's assistant and was very pleased. She was very nice, professional and personable. She read my chart and agreed with my treatment. She worked on getting the authorization and got me in to get my infusion right away. I also have taken both of my children to her. My 6yr old had a rash and she gave us medicine which cleared it up right away. My 11yr old has acne problems and she was able to get her some new medications and she is alot better already. We were all very pleased and impressed by
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
and her staff, I have already recommended her to my neighbors.

"My experience with Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
was a very pleasant and satisfying one. She is outgoing, cordial, humorous and smart. She listened attentively to me and made eye contact. While I spoke, she wrote in my chart, but she also looked at me. This is very different from and preferable to those MDs who type on a computer while you're talking. Her examination was thorough and professional. Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
provided a lot of information about the two types of skin problems I have. She prescribed treatment for one of them and recommended a referral to a specialist for an additional evaluation of the other. Her prescription solved one of the problems. I felt confident in her abilities as a doctor and in her concern for me as a human being. At no time did I feel as if she were in a hurry to see other patients. Because of my skin issues, I have to see a dermatologist every 6 months. I have chosen Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
as my dermatologist and have already scheduled a follow-up appointment.

"I've been going to Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
for several years. I like him very much, but his front desk staff and process can be problematic. When I walked in the young woman took my name, looked at a paper and said loudly "Are you a fill-in?!" I replied "Excuse me?" "ARE YOU A FILL IN?" she repeated the same thing again but more loudly. I don't know what a fill-in is, so I said no. She then had to take a moment and look for the appointment.. I guess that was a lot of trouble, because she seemed irritated. Very bad first impression. Then she hands me the new patient forms, about 8 pages and says "You need to fill these out." .Every time I've gone in lately they've required me to fill out the complete patient history. I've filled one out no less than 4 times, twice in the past year. Even if you say "nothing has changed from the last form," they make you fill it out again. Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
is such a nice guy, but the desk, and all this form filling out, yikes! I'm considering changing doctors because I like filling out paperwork once, not every office visit. Maybe it's just me. I'm hoping Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
will read this and will make some changes to this policy. It really is tiresome to fill out your complete medical history each and every office visit with him. And it would be nice if the desk person smiled, was polite and looked for your appointment first, before shouting something odd at you in an irritated manner.

"It was a really nice appointment. I've been to many dentists over the years and Dr.
Austin Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
had to be the most gentle I've ever came across. Very good experience and will be going back there. "
