did not call me when the tires arrived as they promised they would. I learned of the arrival when I called them and I got a "yep, their here". I arrived later that day (18th) for installation and attempted to park SUV near empty bay that was open. At that moment
(supervisor) approached in very aggressive unprofessional manner demanding in a very loud, rude and off putting voice (with no greeting) "do not park here, you cannot park here. I know who you are (said my name) and you must go inside first and complete paperwork."
has one thing on his mind and that is enforcing
rules and never mind customer service. It is even evident that his attitude has infected the entire department. Not sure but it appeared there was just one person working in the bay area leaving one person at the counter and
walking around enforcing the rules to customers. By the way, there was no signage stating what one is to do upon arrival for tire installation. I mentioned to one of the counter reps that in all my years this was the first time I had ever been reprimanded for driving up to an open bay at an auto service center. HIs reply, "We are not your normal auto service center". I agree with him on that one.
In the end they got the tires installed on the SUV. But, because they had only one man working on installations, I had to return home and come back later to pick up the vehicle.

I've been to
many times, always with good results. Quick auto inspection. Waiting area isn't beautiful, but it is out of the elements and there's a nice coffee shop just steps away. My husband's truck had a break light lens broken, which they replaced for us. The owner called around to locate a lens cover at a good price for us. Also had tire repaired there, I was in and out in record time with a nominal charge.

Our whole family uses
Austin Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
for our tire needs.
Austin Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
provides very good customer service and fair pricing and they are a local business. I have used them exclusively for tire purchases for the past 5-6 years. I trust their judgement for what tires I select and they are very competitive in their pricing. I highly recommend them for tires, alignment and other suspension related work.

I started with this Firestone a few months back when they had an excellent price on tires for my Land
Austin Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
. Since then I've had my A/C serviced, some brake work and an alignment done.
These guys are fair and honest and do a great job. They are very professional and do all of the work at a fair price.
The store is clean and comfortable with a nice waiting area if you need to wait on the work being done. There is also a small kitchen area with free coffee and bottled water. They are in the HEB shopping center, so there is also a couple of places to eat and shop if you prefer. While sitting there waiting on my truck, I saw them handle several customers in a professional and courteous manner, many times going the extra mile to accommodate the customer's schedule and needs.
I was getting my truck washed the other day and a gentleman started up a conversation with me. He asked me about the cost of maintaining my truck, He then stated that I should give the Firestone in Oak Hill a try. That happens to be the same Firestone I patronize. He, too, had nothing but good words for these guys.
This Firestone is now my "go to" place for all things maintenance on my truck.

I've been using
Austin Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
for a few years. I'd had bad experience with two tire places and was desparate to find a place I could trust. I don't remember how I found them but I am sure glad I did! Wednesday I got a flat tire on my minivan. I'm a 48 year-old female and not in the best of shape. I was quite fortunate to be in a parking lot, but nobody was around who looked strong enough to help me. I tried to put the spare on ... then I called
Austin Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
. I was close enough to them (near 183 & I-35) so they drove right over -- they were there in less than 10 minutes! They changed my flat to the spare. Maybe other places would do ths but not the other shops I'd been to! This isn't the first time they've gone beyond the call of duty for me. I then drove to their shop and let them finish the job. Did they add services? No. I'd been planning on getting to the shop to have the tires checked (even I could tell they probably needed to be replaced) and an inspection. They noticed the date on my oil change sticker so I added an oil change -- not exactly an "added" service since it had been so long.In the past (and also this time) I've had them look at things and they've told me no, I didn't need any service. They are friendly and professional and I hope I'll never have to go anywhere else for tire work. Most of my intereaction was with

Brakes squeeking on Honda Civic. Took it in since no wait. They did complete brake change, front and rear pads, shoes, machined rotars. A month later there was gringing and squeeking still and we took it in to have them look at it. We gave them the original receipt because they couldn't find the work they did and asked to see the receipt and when we came back to to see what they thought was causing it, they said suspension and they lost the original receipt. They said it was the front suspension that needed to be replacde and would cost about $600. We had the car looked at by a family mechanic and found out no suspension problem, it was that

used the lowest grade brake pads when we paid for the good ones (ceramic). They used sub par materials, charged premium prices and tried to get more money by performing services not needed.

It went exactly as expected. As soon as I told the guy that I was the one who had just called, he rolled out the right-size tire and they got to work.

I liked the fact that they didn't try to sell me anything else, even though I'm sure my other tires need to be replaced too. The final price was exactly the same as what was quoted over the phone.

I called them up and they had the best prices for

tires (along with a coupon) for my Highlander 4x4. They changed all the tires, disposed of my spare without an additional charge, and placed my best old tire as the new spare. They have an excellent warranty and free lifetime tire rotation and balancing. Other than having to wait an hour and a half (but this was a Saturday afternoon and there are no appts.), service was very competent and comprehensive.

I go there for everything. They are a little bit biased because he is my wife’s uncle. We are honest with everybody and we send a lot of friends there. They are kind of like doctors. They
Austin Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
’t over diagnose and over treat anything. They repair what they think is wrong the cheapest way and if that does not fix the problem, they kind of dig a little bit deeper. He gives a fair price for what he does. He does not come out and tell you what should be done. He gives you options and he would recommend the cheapest one first and see if that works. I would definitely use their services again in the future.
