I didn't confirm that I was going to use his company during our conversation, so he had no idea if I actually was. Something that I thought was a bit odd was that he called me back a couple of hours after we spoke and told me a few things I needed to know when I called other companies so that I would know if I were being told the truth. He told me of other companies that he would suggest I use if I didn't use his company, but after checking them out, I went with his company. He seemed to have the most knowledge out of any of them, and his company specializes in antiques, which is what I was really looking for. The day they came out and did the job went really well. All of the other companies kept saying the same thing, 3 hours, 3 hours, 3 hours. Well, it took him 6! I honestly believe, now, after seeing the way he did it, that if I would have hired one of those "3 hour" companies, I would regret it in the end. I took the day off from work so I could be home to watch the work being performed. He started off going over all safety measures and precautions, and then he started working. Before every step, he called me in the room to explain what he was doing and why he was doing them. He really made me feel at ease about having the work done. When it was complete, it looked absolutely amazing! I was so happy with the work. The work came with a free 8 year warranty that covers anything that happens to the tub due to his materials or workmanship. No other company offered a warranty anywhere near that long. He explained why he is confident offering such a long warranty and I am comfortable with it, as well. Pretty much, it all comes down to this, after all is said and done, I am so glad I used this company. I am positive that if I would have used another company, I would have either gotten ripped off or bad work! This company is the best! This company is actually very experienced at this work. "BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! I could not get them to finish the job properly. Primary issue was the shower floor. Spent months trying to get them to come fix. Ended up having to have someone ripout their work & redo the entire job. Luckily we did this, as upon ripout we found that they cut the corners of what is supposed to be the watertight membrane and compromised ...more the integrity of the floor. Also the plumbing fixtures were not properly installed. I would have had leaking down to our 1st floor. I learned a lesson dealing with these crooks.
