Repairman arrived on time. He was familiar with the model and its operations and common problems. Quickly located the problem. There were 2 possible solutions to the problem, one costing $500 the other $110. The difference was his diligence in isolating the real problem. The easy solution was to simply replace the motor and drive unit - $350 parts + labor. The other was simply to properly remount the drain pump unit and tighten a clamp. The $110 solution worked just fine and he assured me it unit was good as new. He also suggested maintenance that should be performed by the homeowner for the dishwasher and washing machine. He explained an inexpensive solution to remove the soap scum that is the main cause of failure in dishwashers and washers.
Left our kitchen clean and neat. Did not try to "up-sell" me a single item or service.

Guy responded to my inquiry on the same day and was able to secure the necessary part and install it the next day. He came out when he said he would and was on time. He installed the part quickly and was on his way. I gave an N/A on price only because I have no basis of comparison, but it seemed reasonable to me.

In the begging everything was ok., although they are not arrived on time( this happens all the time-their excuses they received a emergency call and this happened 5 times). So the installer change the breaker at the electrical panel and did put it back the electrical cover panel and it got missed .The first signal that this thing was going south was when they put the wrong air filter size. I had to call 3 times to guys came over just to drop an air filter. Before the inspection, the installer come back to my home he said he forget to put the cover and he said he will came back with a new one. Guess what? he didn't. Next couple days, city inspector failed the inspection because that.I called the company and explained everything and they said that they assume all the mistakes and they will fixed. My job required that I travel a lot and when I was oversea I received a call from the company and they said they were not responsible for falling inspection after the manager, the guy who installed assume was his fault. So call diary to his company after many back and forth .Another guys came over at the house took more pictures again and they said they will call me as soon as possible. They didn't call. SO I called and speak again with the manager,

, and she said they will replace the missing cover ,but they never did. Almost 1 year passed and one

cover electrical panel still missing from my electrical panel. It's ridiculous what this company did . I hope many people read this and pass it on, because it's unfair what they are doing. Say one thing and doing other thing. They should be responsible and assume their mistakes and fix it. If you need any services DO NOT CONTACT this company in

area. Thanks.

.
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
was very prompt, courteous, and professional. It took him only a short time to isolate the problem . It turned out to be leaking refrigerant
He said the repair would cost as much or more than a new refrigerator. He suggested some brands that he found to be very reliable.

It went awesome.
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
is everything you expect in an ideal
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
. Like, he's the
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
that commercials about repairmen actually are about. He was extremely nice and respectful. Respectful to us, our time and our wallet. He came and assessed our problem and found it quickly. Told us what the part would cost and ordered it that way. Said it would be here in a week and it was and that we'd "settle up" when he came to install it. We did just that. The job was $129 not including parts. There wasn't a trip charge every time he came out. He told us that it's $129 until it's fixed and that was it.
I don't know what else to say. He doesn't know it yet, but he's our guy now.

Needed broken disposal replaced so sent an email with questions via Angies List on a Sat afternoon;
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
responded on a Sunday evening with a callback number, and was here Monday by 11:30 am with all parts needed for the replacement. He provided data on what the replacement would be so that I could research that brand/model and came in under his estimate. Did not try to upsell; in fact said that the lower model would be more than sufficient for my needs. I did not expect that kind of service from a one man shop! He was friendly, helpful, and quick. Would definitely use him again.

Mr.
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
diagnosed the problem over the phone and had the appropriate part at his visit. The icemaker passed the test, but he was sure that the electric eye needed to be replaced. He did not want me to pay for the visit until I tested it for a few days to make sure it worked. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and unbelievably honest. I would recommend him highly.

I recommend
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
(owner) highly. I called for an appt and he apologized that he couldn't get to me until the next day! I was expecting to get someone out in the next 4-5 days! He showed up on time, called before he came and really took the time to do the job right. He did several little extra things all for his very reasonable price.

was nice and efficient. He knew what was wrong with our leaky fridge and fixed it right away. I also thought our disposal was broken, but he investigated and fished out a chunk of glass at no cost.

My Amana Radar Range microwave oven is about 30 years old and is a one piece unit. It still looks and works great and I love it. On April 1, 2014, I placed a service call on the microwave unit through American Home Shield (AHS). The timer and the #9 keys were not working. There were also several burnt out light bulbs located where I could not get to them. They sent the call to
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
whom I called and left a message with the following day. The company that AHS assigns your service call to is supposed to contact you within 24 hours of receiving the call from AHS. I did not hear from
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
until April 4th and I think
that is only because I called them and happened to catch them and not their answering machine. They came out to look at the microwave unit on April 9th and it miraculously started working again without him having done anything to it. While he was here, I asked him to order light bulbs for the microwave oven and the backdrop part of the oven that overlooks the burners. He said he would order the light bulbs after making sure that AHS would approve his replacing them and call me within a week or so with a status on this. I paid my co-pay to him and waited to hear back from him. But, he never called me back. So, I called him back and left a message. I still never heard back from him. So, I started calling and leaving a message every other day until the end of May when I was really fed up. So, I called AHS and explained the situation to them and placed a complaint. About 2 days after making my complaint to AHS,
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
called and left me a message that they would be able to come back the first week of June to replace my light bulbs. During that week, I never heard from them, but my microwave broke again with the same problems. So, I placed a call back service call to AHS requesting someone other than
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
to come out and look at my microwave oven. They assigned it to Able Appliance. They have worked on other appliances of mine and they were always very efficient and professional. They called me immediately and were scheduled to come out on April 13th. In the meantime,
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
finally shows up on April 11th and while he was unpacking the light bulbs, I mentioned that the
microwave was not working again. He started pushing on the buttons again just like he did the first time he came. Only this time, it did not fix the problem. Without even opening up the microwave oven he declared that since it was so old, it would be impossible to get new parts for it so AHS would just have to scrap the entire unit and buy us a new microwave and a new oven that could fit in this space. He also said that since they were going to scrap it anyway, it would not do any good to replace the light bulbs now. He left stating that he would send in a report with his findings to AHS and they would be in touch with
me with a list of microwaves and ovens for us to choose from. Against my better judgment, I cancelled the service call with Able Appliance. It's been 10 business days since
Austin Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
was here and I called AHS to get a status on whether or not he had turned in his report yet or not and of course he has not.I placed another complaint against this company with AHS. I also made sure that they knew he had not even opened up the unit to diagnose it properly or replaced the light bulbs like he was supposed to. I will never do business with this company again.
