Tree Service Reviews in Atlanta

Excellent company and workmanship. The pine was very large and almost on top of our house. Same with the oak over our neighbor's house.
's crew was on time and had both trees on the ground in a matter of hours. Stump grinding was performed by a 3rd party they recommended. You might be able to find a pickup truck tree service cheaper, but for risky work on top of my house I would look no further than
. There were some ruts left in the side yard from the crawler used to remove the logs (due to their size and weight).
's president personally made certain it was restored perfectly. Couldn't ask for more.

I bought a coupon for $200 for $400 worth of tree service. I needed two trees taken out and some others trimmed. Their prices for the actual tree work turned out to be much higher than some of the other quotes I got (though not the highest), but since a consultation with an arborist was included, the coupon was a decent deal. The arborist did a nice thorough job, looking at all the trees in the yard and giving me advice about caring for them. With the quote for tree service, he included a diagram of the yard with all the trees labeled, which was helpful. I ended up going with another company to cut down the two trees I needed taken out because of price. For the $400 in the coupon,
trimmed two other medium-sized trees, cutting out a lot of dead wood and cross-branches. The guys they sent to do the trimming were polite, did a good job and cleaned up all the cut branches before they left. We had some stump-grinding done (not included in the coupon), which apparently they contract out to another company. The stump-grinders never showed up on the day we understood they were supposed to be there. They came a couple of days later when no one was home (and without telling us they were coming), but ultimately did a good job. I spoke with folks in the main office a couple of times, and they were very professional, polite and helpful. Overall I would use the company again if their prices were more competitive.

Tree Service reviews in Atlanta

I called yesterday and left a voice mail at about 5 in the evening.
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
called me back this morning. She indicated that she could have a technician by once they were done at a big job they were on yes today. That was at 10:45 in the morning. The technician called me at 1:21 and said he would be there in 10 - 15 minutes which he was.
The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Who comes out to do work on your house the same day when they have never come before?
They did and I would highly recommend.

They first sent out an arborist to look at the trees and provide some initial estimates for the job. He was very knowledgable, polite, and genuinely helpful! It's refreshing to meet someone that actually enjoys their job. The estimate they provided was spot on for the final cost of the job. The actual job was scheduled roughly two weeks out from the initial visit. An early opportunity came up due to a cancelation, and they contacted me to see if I'd like to schedule it sooner (and I did!). The crew showed up on time and was very polite, professional, and efficient. The whole job was done in less than an hour. They removed both trees (except the stumps) and cleaned everything up. I was told another crew would remove the stumps in the next couple of days. The "stump crew" (another company sub contracted by

) arrived the following day without "warning". Unfortunately a car was in the way, I didn't have the keys, and I had to scramble to have the owner return home to move it. The crew was very polite and waited for the car to be moved (roughly 25 minutes). It would have been nice to have been provided with an ETA for the stump crew (so they wouldn't have had to waste their time waiting for the car to be moved). The stumps were ground down and the resulting chips/mulch was raked back into the holes/cleaned up.
The overall experience was top notch! I would definitely recommend
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
's services! No surprise costs and very professional. This is how all businesses should operate. While I don't have any other experience with other similar tree services to compare to, if you are on the fence about using

, go ahead and jump!

took out the tree as promised. No damage to anything else on the property. They hauled off all of the lumber, limbs, and leaves. Very clean, very quick. Professional. I would recommend them to my friends. Took under and hour. It was a relatively small tree but precariously hung over my house. Just a job I couldn't do myself without fear of hurting myself or my property. Fun to watch actually.

They initially sent a certified Arborist to assess a large white oak who ordered a test on the tree. They returned a very sophisticated report outlining the current health of the tree and risk assessment of the surrounding area. The arborist also walked our entire yard to look at the health of our other trees. It was recommended that we remove the tree as it put our neighbors and their house at risk. They made a written proposal covering falling the tree and complete removal. I got two other proposals from smaller companies and they were more expensive as well as not having their own crane. They arrived on time and performed the job quickly and skillfully. Contact with all the staff was friendly and extremely professional. I highly recommend

We didn't hear back from
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
, so my husband called and left him a message again which he never returned our call. The work has not occurred with Apex as we have found another tree services. It is a very competitive business so getting it priced right and good customer service is needed if you want to expand through Angie's List.
We would recommend that Angie's List reconsider their Big Deal offers to any tree services as most of them are based outside of the Atlanta city limits and coming into the city requires a high cost by the vendor- we have now experienced this twice with very good Angies List vendors. An in return, tree vendors please consider your offer a little more thoroughly in where you are willing to go and do the work- perhaps there should be a more comprehensive review system for the Big Deals.

I can't say enough good things about this company and it was an absolutely pleasure working with them from the very beginning through the completion of the job. True professionals.
1) Initial Quote/Meeting
I was impressed from my initial meeting as
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
, the owner, made himself available on very short notice to spend the time personally to look at what I potentially wanted to do as well as give advice on the trees as well as the city requirements for removal and trimming. He was extremely well educated and we not pushing sales at all, in fact, at points he gave me guidance not to cut down certain tree limbs as they were not hazardous and I would essentially be wasting my money. Not only did he give me good guidance on which tree branches I should/shouldn't take down but that but he also volunteered to assist me by removing piles of branch trimmings I had already taken down (I had used a pole saw to cut down a number of branches).
2) Insurance
This is an absolute MUST for anyone you decide to go with.
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
made it clear that not only do you need hazard insurance but also workers comp in case one of the guys gets hurt.
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
cares about his guys as well as the job and the house and ensures everyone is safe and working to not damage anything. He made sure that the insurance came FROM the insurance company directly before we started the job.
3) Quote/Agreement
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
was very fast in providing a very competitive quote and also marked the trees on the property with a small
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
which became extremely handy for both me to refer back to as well as for guidance when his team arrived to do the work
4) Work
The scheduling of the work was straight forward and
Atlanta Tree Services Provider Name Locked
was flexible with what he could accommodate based on my schedule. For reference one of the trees was more than 3 stories tall and overhanging my house so this was a very challenging job. The guys doing the work were absolute professionals, respectful, pleasant, and were amazing to watch do their work. The team of guys moved each piece of the tree down without getting anywhere close to damaging even a shingle on my roof and I had absolutely no concerns or hesitation when I saw how good they were at what they did. They were very polite and ensured that as we were trimming trees, they were reviewing the work with me to ensure that the trees remained healthy while accomplishing what I wanted. From a speed perspective they were very fast taking down a number of trees and trimming in only a couple hours even with the challenge of removing the tree overhanging my roof.
5) Cleanup
The team cleaned up the property so well that it was cleaner than when they arrived, no damage what so ever and they also asked me to confirm everything was the way I wanted it.
- Robert M.

Initially they pressure washed the entire house then we had a few weathered wood areas that needed to be replaced due to wear and tear. The job took a total of 4 days and the crew's cleanup and attention to detail was excellent. Our house looked brand new with the new paint job. Again we were very satisfied and would highly recommend!
