"He arrived when he said he would. He took care of the problem quickly and only after several snuggles from
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
, told me he was allergic to my cat. He has a warm manner and obviously knows his craft. He took care of things and left. The machine worked great for a long time.

"The part was supplied, however it was of extremely poor quality and it was immediately apparent that it was a roughly manufactured item. Although it was an important but small item and should have been smooth and highly polished, as was the original so as to provide smoothly running of the machine, the part which was sent was so substandard that it broke during an attempted installation. Subsequently machine had to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop which did a fine job of getting the machine running again, and resulting in a hefty bill!

Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
was very responsive to our call for a free estimate; even though this is a busy time of year for him, he was able to stop in within a few days after our call. We liked that he had over 39 years experience in sewing machine repair, particularly Singer, and that he was willing to share his knowledge so that we can keep our machine running smoothly. He gave us a general time when he would come for the estimate and for when he brought the machine back (for example, Thursday after 1PM). We live in Fairview Park and
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
travelled from South Euclid. We appreciated not having to transport the sewing machine to a repair site ourselves. Upon leaving,
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
invited us to call with any further questions we might have.

"BUYER BEWARE!!!
I went to both the outlet and main store on Central looking for a Juki machine. I found one at the main store to buy "Cliff" the salesman quoted me $560 with a trade in for the machine he even wrote it on the back of his business card. When we got up to the
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
he stated he had misread the the price sheet and then charged me $589+tax for the machine I really did not agree but did not see that there was much I could do after he had run my debit card for the 1/2 down. I later discovered I paid the NORMAL price posted for this machine NO DISCOUNT had been applied.
I was going to return the next day with my trade in and the balance due. The store manager said I could take the machine with out the trade in and bring it when it was convenient if I paid the balance which seemed fair to me. I wanted a machine in a factory seal box but "Cliff" advised me that they didnt have one and setup all machines to "test" them to make sure they are ok.
So again a bit confused and disappointed because he said he had one in the back I was stuck accepting the floor model.
I leave feeling conned but happy to get the Juki machine I got. Well I set it up at home and notice there are several scratches on it and the tension dial seems to have a problem staying in one place ie...it moves freely on its own BROKEN and the tension is all out of sync. So it is about 6pm and I call "Cliff" and explain the issues and he agrees that it is not supposed to do this and we agree I will return it the next day.
I get to the main Lindazs store and "Cliff" meets my husband and I and tinkers with the machine for 15-20 minutes and finally I say we have to get home to meet my son by 3pm. I thought I was clear I didnt want this machine I wanted a brand new one which they did not have.
I expected my money back. OH no silly consumer me Lindazs has a no returns and no refunds standing policy. "Cliff" NEVER mentioned that but he was nice enough to explain that to his managerhe did not tell me and he also told her the machine wasnt working right.
After a lot of debate and to bad for you stupid consumer attitude she offered to give me a loaner and order me a new machine.
At this point I realize I have been majorly conned--- they sold me a broken machine and then would not refund my money when I returned their damaged product less than 24hours later. WOW after having to threaten them it is now 215pm they agree to do me a favor and break their NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS policy and I have to split the "10% RESTOCKING FEE" of the store that should never have to restock because they do not take returns. Of course they took the 10% off the cost of the machine and the taxes. How are they restocking taxes???
We leave about 245pm and I have to call a babysitter to meet my child after school.
So I paid Lindazs $33 and spend 4 hours round trip driving from
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
IL and the 4 hours buying and then returning the machine for the privilege of being conned by Lindazs.

Christmas to me. Thanks Lindazs an education is priceless.
So is the power of the internet and the two quilting clubs I belong to who have a cumulative membership of over 300 members that will know all about your stores and your one sided business practices.

"My issue with this brand new purchase was simply that I was not aware that the
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
foot would not completely sit down onto the feed unless the plastic finger guard was engaged by being swung to its position in front of the foot and needle.
I called two services listed in the
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
area and left messages with both.
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
Service was first to call.
Without going into all the details, suffice it to say here that this gentleman took my machine to polish the hook, which I found out afterwards when the other service, (whom I wish I had spoken with in the first place but didn't know any better) called me and when I told him that I was all set an another service has been here, he said "oh, I hope it's not
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
Service". I said yes it was.
IBasically,
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
Service is a crook who took my machine and purported to fix something that wasn't even needing fixing. He knew I was a newbie to this type of industrial sewing machine and took complete advantage of me. The other gentleman informed me that people have sued this
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
Service and he has all kinds of Better Business Bureau complaints about him. I didn't do my homework and suffered this gentleman to the tune of almost $400, and he did nothing. He even left the parts behind that he removed in my home and I had to take them out to his home in the pouring and freezing rain on that Friday evening.
So, be forewarned. don't use this guy. Call the other sewing machine repair service and wait for him to get to you as he is the only honest guy around and his phone rings off the hook for service. He will get with you so AVOID
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
SERVICE.
Hope this review saves someone else from his scam.

" My experience with this provider was outstanding. I hope any future experience with other providers will be as positive and pleasant as this was for me. He was very professional and discussed the steps he was taking to service the sewing machine. I highly recommend his services.. It was also a big plus for me to have him service my sewing machine in my home, thus avoiding my having to struggle carrying the machine myself.

"I waited to write my review till I used my machine again to make an outfit. My machine now runs like it hasn't in years!! I have had a tune-up on it periodically but it never ran as smooth as it did after

tuned it up!! It was also great not having to take it out of the cabinet and lug it somewhere. I highly recommend his service!!!

"My elderly mother called
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
to take a look at her beloved sewing machine from the '60s, which was inoperable. (FSC appears to be one of the few such businesses in this field that does house calls.) He arrived at her retirement community at the appointed day and time to take a look at the machine. It turned out that what she thought were "jammed" (and possibly broken) gears was actually just decades of grime clogging the works.
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
fixed the machine in her apartment. Not only was the repair expertly done (including
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
vacuuming up the debris from the carpet after he finished the work), but my mother RAVED about his knowledge, warmth and friendliness--he couldn't have been nicer. (Clearly, he has excellent people skills and apparently knows how to talk with older customers.) The sewing machine now runs like it's brand-new, as
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
said it would--my mother can't get over it. He charged her only for the house call, which was $78.50 (he had initially said on the phone that if the gears were indeed broken, it might cost $300 to replace them).
My mother--who had been worried about what she feared would turn out to be an expensive ordeal--was incredibly relieved. She was so thrilled with the service and "customer experience"
Atlanta Sewing Machines Repair Provider Name Locked
provided that she asked him to send her business cards so she could distribute them to other friends and neighbors in her community who have sewing machines!
Talk about a perfect transaction!

"I dropped off the machine midday Saturday and had just gotten home when he called with the quote and told me the work would be done in half an hour! It was amazingly quick service and I would definitely use their services again in the future.
