"Full disclosure--we were moving across country with no notice and therefore highly disorganized and in a hurry. 
stepped up to the plate and met our timetable. The crew was very nice and worked extra late to get the job done. In the end, they missed a few places (nothing I could not pop the paint can and touch up on my own) and left a fair amount of flaked paint in the planters, etc. There was also a surprising lack of consensus about the best way to strip the excessive amount of old, loose paint from the wood before repainting--in the end they used some pressure washing and a little stripping. But the results speak well for the crew's work, and our deck looks ten years younger. And we truly appreciate their bending over backwards for us, though we all seemed a little disorganized by the rush."

"I purchased a Groupon posted by 2 months ago and never heard from the owner until today. When he did call, he said that the reason he had ignored my voicemails for 2 months was that Groupon posted the wrong deal (I'm fairly certain Groupon didn't make up the deal, so at some point this deal came from the owner), and he was not going to honor the Groupons that we had all paid for. This is fine if you tell us within a week...or even a month...of us purchasing the deal. But to wait 2 months and THEN decide that you will not honor the work? And to let us call you and try to get in contact with you for 2 whole months only to decide that you don't want to do that work? That is not professional nor resonsive nor punctual nor any of the qualities that Angies List rates companies on. Now my gutters have 2 extra months of leaves in them because the owner would not contact me in a timely fashion to tell me he won't be doing the work I paid for. I would not recommend doing business with this company."

" 's Services included House Painting & Rotting Wood Replacement
and his team went the extra mile in making the needed exterior repairs to our 50-year old home. While we realized there was some rotting wood on the home we recently purchased, we learned there was more extensive damage to some of the structural components after ?s team removed the decayed trim pieces. They replaced even the 2 X 10 roofing components that had been damaged by a faulty gutter system. This required some ingenuity as the roof needed to be jacked up for support while the new framing was installed. Although the job required additional time, they stayed as long as was necessary to complete the work.
When the rotting wood repairs were complete, the crew prepped the house for painting and began to use the paint I requested. In short, the paint didn?t apply properly but they were flexible enough to use an alternate brand upon my approval which was even better and the paint adhered properly and should be long-lasting.
Because I wanted the replaced wood to be as maintenance-free as possible, they used pressure treated materials, Plank siding, and PVC trim components. The use of these materials will provide a good payback over time as they will require less ongoing maintenance.
These are the 3 chief reasons earns a high rating:
1. has the right temperament for a contractor. As such, he is easy to get along with and is receptive to ideas from the homeowner. In short, he wants to meet the homeowner?s expectations. His crew worked very efficiently, seldom took breaks, and did the job the right way. These days that brand of commitment is rather unusual. One example of the crew?s flexibility: Squirrel removal. The crew had replaced a portion of the soffit on the right corner of our 2-story home. As they prepared to paint this area they heard squirrels in the attic behind the soffit. Most companies would have stated ?this isn?t my job? (or would not have told the homeowner), but the crew pulled back the soffit and encouraged the squirrels to leave from both the inside and outside of our home. A ?critter ? company would have charged several hundred dollars.
2. His craftsmanship is structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. It was important to us for the repairs to be solid, long-lasting, and attractive. In all 3 areas and his team hit the . I found that will take the time to evaluate new materials (even though they are not commonplace) that provide the homeowner more value. One example: They rebuilt the cupola on our roof (using modern materials that are resistant to decay) and replaced the sad, rotting wood. Further, they removed decades of paint from the metal wind components and painted the roof of the cupola with paint that gave it a hand-hammered copper look. I had priced replacement cupolas and figure that this one item alone saved us at least $500.
3. is trustworthy and manages both the materials and labor that go into a job so that a homeowner gets fair value. I never had a concern that I was charged appropriately or that I received good value for our investment.
In short, I highly recommend and was very satisfied with the wood repair and painting his team did on our home."

"This is the second time I've used . He is a one man operation, so he does not have lots of advertising or staff. He answers his phone at pretty much any hour eager to work. I think he does a lot of business by word of mouth. He is a good guy and seems to work hard. It was brutally hot the day he did my deck this year, and he was out there for a good 6 or 8 hours getting everything taken care of. He moved my deck furniture and grill around to do his job. No problems. My deck always looks fantastic when he finishes with it."
