I had a great experience at
. They are friendly and helpful. You probably won't see a gynecologist, but you usually see a nurse practitioner for the service. It is hard to get appointment but they have open calls on certain days.

They specialize in high risk breast cancer recipients. They do only breast cancer surgeries, mammograms, and things like that. I usually get a mammogram, X
, and ultrasound there. You spend 3 hours there and you don't have to keep going back. The people there are absolutely wonderful, everything is first class, and they even have their own MRI there. They ended up with more patients there. Most of us like them so much, we go there. You do wait, but, not just for one thing. They might get caught in surgery and they have to reschedule you.

They are a big practice but they

’t ever seem to be in a hurry to get me in and out. They spend enough time with me to make sure all my questions are answered and all my appointments are made. They follow up if I have any test results or anything pending. My overall experience with them has been good.

When I see any doctor annually, while I don't expect them to remember lots of specifics about me I would like for them to act as though they recognize me when they meet with me. I simply have not had that feeling with Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
. She is a straight-shooter and pretty task-focused. Not overly warm. She's nice in a very professional way, but not very personal with patients (at least she wasn't with me). I saw another doctor in her practice when I had an issue crop up and Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
was unavailable to see me at the time. This other doctor was fabulous and I appreciated and related to her care and concern and overall bedside manner. I've now taken it upon myself to switch to this new doctor. Interestingly enough, a co-worker of mine recently had a baby and I found out Dr.

did deliver her baby and was her doctor throughout her pregnancy. When I asked her about her experience with this doctor her perceptions were the same as mine. The only reason she did not switch doctors herself was because she was already pregnant at the time and found it easier to simply stay with Dr.

Doctor
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
is great. We only had to see another Doctor once due to scheduling but she's very helpful and put us at easy about the pregnancy process as this is our first child. The staff is great and we plan on continuing to stay with this office for a while even though its quite far and parking and traffic in the surrounding area is a bit congested.

I was referred to Dr

by friends after being misdiagnosed by another doctor. To make a long story short, Dr.

immediately identified the issue on my first visit and actually performed the necessary surgery a few weeks later restoring me to optimal health.

As for the office environment, it can get hectic but you have to keep in mind that they are specialists who see many high-risk pregnancy patients, so if one of those patients has an issue, it can cause delays. Truthfully, I actually like that they are thorough and take their time with each patient so it doesn't bother me. I will also say that in my last two visits, it appears they are gradually removing the staff members who aren't as friendly so that helps too.

In any case, I'd opt for skill and good care any day over some of the more extraneous issues. If I had a daughter, I'd feel completely safe entrusting her to Dr.

So far I have only met with Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
once, though I will be having her do the surgery and will report back after that. I went to Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
because she was recommended by my gynecologist, she had good online reviews, and she was the first surgeon who could meet with us. The office environment was fine and the nurse,

, was extremely nice and sweet. However, all told the appointment took us 2 hours (my husband was with me) because we had to wait SO LONG. First in the waiting room, then in an office to speak to her nurse, then in an exam room, and then yet again in another office to talk to the doctor. I really liked Dr.

a LOT, but the waiting is a big negative for me. I am going to use her as my surgeon in any case because she was very easygoing, clear about what I had and what needed to be done, not at all intimidating (which I had experienced with my gyno regarding this issue....she scared me to death by making it sound dire!), and answered all of our questions. I would give the whole experience a big A if not for the wait.

I have been Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
's patient for the past 11 years. I chose Premier Practice when I first moved to Atlanta in 1999 and was scheduled with Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
, and I am very lucky I was. During a diagnostic test ordered by Dr.
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
for a minor problem an incidental finding of a serious nature was discovered. She referred me to another excellent physician and I required surgery for the serious incidental finding, as well as gyn surgery. Each physician was credentialed at different hospital and I wanted the surgeries done at the same time. Dr.

and her staff went beyond the call of duty to obtain credentialing at the same hosptal, quickly, so my surgeries could be done in a timely and urgent manner. Both surgeries had excellent outcomes (I am still here ;) I will be forever in her debt, in a good way!

My experience at
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
Women's was miserable: I don't recommend anyone to use them. They mucked up my insurance billing so badly that it's hardly discernible which services were performed on which dates, and somehow much of my lab work was sent to an out-of-network provider. I called the office manager on it, and it was a string of excuses (after it took her 3 weeks to return my call). It's been three months now: the insurance issues aren't resolved and I've had to go to the trouble of filing a report with the BBB to try and obtain a resolution. The doctor and staff were otherwise fine. The doctor was 50 minutes late to my appointment once, which was annoying, and she was always rushed and cursory. I've learned vastly more about pregnancy from my prego workout instructor than from this OB. Billing practices were horrible though: I would literally receive a bill from the previous appointment the days prior to my next appointment, and they'd bug me about why the bill hadn't been paid! I switched obstetricians as a result of this lousy service and incompetent billing, and then I couldn't get
Atlanta Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
Women's to send my medical records to the new OB! I am now late for my 6-month appointment and am concerned because my new OB won't see me until they receive the records. Who knows when they will arrive, and I've called six times to inquire about when they'll be sent. I would steer clear of this medical office! Incompetence, cursory care, bad service and billing headaches are all you'll get.
