Home Inspecting Reviews in Atlanta

These guys are great. Appointment was easy to schedule, pre-inspection paperwork conducted by email was exceedingly
and clear, and the final report was appropriately detailed including everything we had talked about, good photo documentation, basic recommendations, and a nice summary.
was great. Arrived promptly on time, introduced himself, and started by asking a bit about why we were getting the inspection and what we were looking for out of it (this was not a pre-sale inspection). He was extremely amiable and professional throughout, and was clearly interested in getting to know the property and explaining things to me at each step of the process. He was also honest in describing things that we needed to get more specialized inspections or recommendations for.
We have done inspections in the past on larger properties than this one, and this was by far the most detailed, thorough, and long (in a good way) inspection we've had.
is clearly interested in getting you all the information you need about a property so you can make the best decisions going forward. Would highly recommend and will absolutely use his services again should the need arise. Thank you!

I first did a home inspection with another company. They did a good job, and I was happy with them. They discovered mold during their inspection.
I then contacted
to do a mold inspection as the first company did not do them. Their certified mold inspector (Dallas) came out and did a (what seemed to me) thorough inspection for mold and water and moisture issues in the house. They did
a full infrared scan as well which if not necessarily the most useful tool was at least comforting.
We needed the inspection quickly during due diligence, and Dallas and
were very accommodating in getting us information quickly. I decided that if we did not get the house we were looking at, then I would use
for my next home inspection.

Home Inspecting reviews in Atlanta

On the day of the scheduled inspection,
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was already in the driveway when I arrived 10 minutes early. He spent over six (6) hours inspecting the house I was contemplating buying, encouraging me to look over his shoulder to see anything he was going to subsequently list as a discrepancy in his report -- explaining the discrepancy and any underlying issues along the way.
Bottom line up front,
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
's very detailed, extremely thorough inspection and report gave us a position of strength to negotiate for repairs prior to closing, or as we agreed with our sellers, for sellers' contributions to closing costs at closing, so that we could initiate/supervise repairs after closing. The $835 spent for
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
's initial inspection -- and the ~$300 spent for his re-inspection -- paid ten-fold dividends in terms of sellers repairs and/or contributions.
Report was completed and emailed to me the same day as the inspection, complete with photographs and a convenient table of discrepancies that reviewed individual discrepancies listed throughout the 18-page document.
Office personnel for scheduling the inspection (and re-inspection) were a pleasure to deal with, and were extremely patient with my scheduling and re-scheduling
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
for inspection of homes that we thought we were going to buy, but ended up not going under purchase contract for whatever reason. Note that the office staff also schedule for EIFS Stucco Inspections by
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
, which I discovered when I called to schedule Mr.
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
to do a stucco-specific inspection -- another A+ inspector with attention to detail and patience to explain how things work and why they need to be done a certain way.
We would most definitely use
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
again, and would recommend him to anyone in the Atlanta area looking for a home inspector -- buyer, seller, or just homeowner wanting to have potentially expensive maintenance issues brought to light while still in the "preventive maintenance" stage.

It was fantastic! I was so pleased with the service and professionalism of the home inspector. I never felt like I was asking dumb questions or a bother to the inspector. He was so attentive to all my questions and made additional recommendations above and beyond the inspection itself. I felt I could trust was he was telling me and knew I had a reliable company in my new home. Buying a home can be very stressful -

Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
conducted our home inspection and we found them to be very helpful and incredibly quick compiling the report. Since this was our first time buying a home (and thus first home inspection), we appreciated that they were personable and explained in detail all of the different problems found, as well as explaining other aspects of the home inspection. Overall, we were very happy that we had them do the inspection and it made us much more comfortable about buying the house!

Extremely thorough, detailed, and helpful. Not only took me through the house but gave me a lot of additional information about owning and maintaining a home. The report was fast and helpful in negotiating with the seller.

We hired
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
in June'13 to conduct inspection of our house in Sandy Springs. He missed on various critical and easy to find issues such as 4x4 rotten hard wood flooring next to back door, around the toilets, and in dining area. He also missed on leaks in roof and rotten backdoor jams. Furthermore, the water pressure in pipes was so high that all our toilets were running within few weeks of inspection. We have had to spend thousands of dollars to get these issues fixed. We still have not been able to get the hardwood floors fixed as that will cost us another 12K which we cannot afford currently after buying the house.
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
is an incompetent house inspector. Even after informing him about these issues, he was not ready to take ownership of these lapses on his part. We inquired around about him and heard from few realtors whose clients hired him and were left unhappy with his quality of work. I wish we had known this before! I hope you don't do the same mistake we did.

I was given three recommended inspectors by my agent. All had good scores on
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was by far the highest score. I was able to get an appointment by phone only a few days out. The day of the inspection my agent called at the appointment time saying he was onsite and waiting for
Atlanta Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
, but turned out the inspector arrived early and was already working on the exterior of the house. The inspection was completed in less than the 3 hours quoted (3000 sq ft) and we were provided a thorough report and explanation of all issues found along with notes and other informative bits about the house. The review was sent to me and my agent that afternoon. Great experience.
