"Our experience with was the best experience I have ever had with a company. They did everything right. Joy Branch was our sales person - we were so impressed with her professionalism, her suggestions and enthusiasm for our project, her quick response with our appointment and then our estimate. was our project manager. He was always available to us and quick to response to questions. He managed the project and it was completed earlier than scheduled. He accommodated a change in the schedule due to a personal conflict we had - it didn't phase him (although I'm sure it made scheduling his workers' time more of a challenge). The work crews kept the work site completely clean. When the window work was done, they were very careful to protect my furniture, floors, rugs and cat. My only wish is that also did INTERIOR work. I would have them back in a heartbeat!"

"THIS MATTER HAS BEEN RESOLVED; SEE UPDATES AT BOTTOM. ORIGINAL REVIEW STANDS. Angie's List referred me to . to have my deck stained. In retrospect I would have have been much better off in terms of time and trouble to have done this job myself.
Poised and professional staff were quick to respond to my telephoned request for a quote, their Field Manager made a prompt assay of my deck and made a fair calculation based on square feet of deck and linear feet of rail and fascia. In a few short days it was power washed by an adept employee and as soon as weather permitted a team was dispatched to do the staining. Until this point my experience was overwhelmingly positive; from this point onward it was a disaster.
When the staining job was complete the team helped themselves to the hose I availed them of for cleanup. After some time and hearing an inordinate amount of water being used they sheepishly came to the door to inform me that the water spigot on the house was broken and would not turn off. I'm no plumber but I've been using that spigot every day of this growing season and the four prior without any faults, but now it was gushing rivulets into my lawn and the last person to turn it on - a employee - could not turn it off.
Step #5 of 's White Glove Guarantee is an "expert clean-up," which based on my experience entails leaving the customer to call a plumber while they go to their next job. I tried to escalate to the main office which should have been open according to their published hours and got a machine. I also tried the mobile number of the Field Manager and had to leave a message. With no response and the floodwaters rising (so to speak) I called the emergency plumber recommended by my home warranty on my own.
UPDATE: At length I heard back from a genuinely apologetic Field Manager whose proposed solution was to send the same team back to take care of the problem. I informed him that I had already made arrangements and that I was through with those guys. He offered guidance on temporary repairs I could perform so their plumber could come on Monday, but my commitment to the appointment I made while was incommunicado would stand. To the Field Manager's credit he had a "we'll-bite-the-bullet" attitude about it and said that the damage was his company's responsibility and that I could reach him personally to let him know how the repairs went. I look forward to his making good on their mess. 's price was good and the quality of their work was good; the low I've given are due to the fact that I've got to spend the rest of my Saturday dealing with the fallout of their damage. FINAL UPDATE: Owner called 2 days later to refund cost of painting."

"We hired to sand and paint some old and groove paneling in our dining room. Over the course of 100 years, the finish had bubbled and cracked and the panels had lots of intricate grooves. My wife and I were too intimidated to attempt this job. We also wanted it done quickly to list our house.
gave me a fair price and the crew of , , and got the job done beautifully in just two days. The walls look completely smooth and the junction of the panels and baseboards were nicely calked. I was really impressed with how hard these guys worked. They scraped and sanded for nearly 12 hours to stay on schedule.
All three guys were professional and polite. They were friendly with my dogs and cats. They also did a good job of containing the ridiculous mess that was made when they scraped and sanded the room. They were eager to seek our feedback and patch a few spots my wife pointed out. They left without a and the work looks great! I?ll use these guys again."

"I sent a message to and Arnie contacted me immediately. He scheduled an appointment at my convenience and he was punctual and prepared. He offered several options and discussed the pros and cons of each. I agreed to the above work and Arnie told me when he expected to start. His crew was punctual, dressed in uniforms, friendly and professional. They had all the equipment and materials that they needed, and worked very hard. As expected, some additional problems were discovered once the work was underway, but Arnie was reasonable in his assessment of additional charges. The work was completed and the workers cleaned up thoroughly behind themselves. Arnie emphasizes that he "wants you to be happy with the work," and he stands by this. This project was the least stressful and most satisfactory that I have contracted out in 25 years of home ownership. The price was not the lowest or the highest of the "bids" that I obtained, but it was fair, in my opinion. I would recommend Arnie and to any homeowner who wants this type of work performed properly with no hassles and no worries.
UPDATE NOVEMBER 2011: We had heavy rains in mid-November and a small leak around a let some water drip through the living room ceiling. We called Arnie and he dispatched a crew on the weekend to fix the flashing and seal the small leak, at no charge. This is a GREAT company to do business with!"

" came out on two occasions prior to scheduling the exterior painting of our home. The first visit was for an assessment and estimate of the work that needed to be done, including replacing rotten wood on our porch banister, boards on our back deck, rotten wood on our chimney as well as the plan for the exterior painting of our home and detached garage. The second visit was for color consultation, where I picked out colors that were complimentary to the style and aesthetic of our home. Once everything was decided and the deposit of 30% was paid, we were scheduled. The painters arrived promptly the first day to caulk and patch up areas that needed to be fixed as well as pressure washed the home to prep the exterior for painting. The second day they again, arrived promptly and began working. They worked until the sun went down. On the third day, they put the finishing touches on the front door and shutters as well as double checked to see if there were any areas that needed to be touched up. All in all, it was a very good experience from beginning to end and our home looks fresh and new!"

"Full disclosure--we were moving across country with no notice and therefore highly disorganized and in a hurry. stepped up to the plate and met our timetable. The crew was very nice and worked extra late to get the job done. In the end, they missed a few places (nothing I could not pop the paint can and touch up on my own) and left a fair amount of flaked paint in the planters, etc. There was also a surprising lack of consensus about the best way to strip the excessive amount of old, loose paint from the wood before repainting--in the end they used some pressure washing and a little stripping. But the results speak well for the crew's work, and our deck looks ten years younger. And we truly appreciate their bending over backwards for us, though we all seemed a little disorganized by the rush."

"I highly recommend & Home Improvement!!
From the very first meeting with , he put me at ease, responded to my concerns, and earned my trust. I'm happy to report that my experience has been a pleasure from start to finish.
& Riverside exceeded my highest expectations. Not only did they deliver on time and on budget, but also consistently demonstrated dedication to exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
As shown above in the "description of work", and his team performed an extensive range of services. I greatly appreciate that made everything as painless as possible, provided fair and competitive pricing, and a 5 year guarantee.
I will continue to use these outstanding professionals for all my home improvement projects."

" and his two person team did an excellent job painting the exterior and interior areas. ’s prices were comparable to others I received. During the estimate phase of the job I was impressed with his knowledge of drywall repair, types of paint and paint quality as it matched what I had researched. In addition, he showed an interest in the job and painting, not as a salesman. and his team were professional and easy to work with. Payment was due after my review and approval of their work at the conclusion of the jobs. ’s knowledge and his excellent reviews on Angie’s list are why I chose him to paint my home. I am very satisfied with the work they did and would definitely use them again."

"He has done work for me for 12 years. He?s the only one I call when I need something. My experience has been that he is reasonable price wise, conscientious, does what he says he?s going to do and does it on time. We have always been satisfied with his work.
