The entire experience was very unprofessional and lacked proper care from the physician. I no longer go to this physician after all my negative experience.

This was an annual follow-up visit after a diagnosis of Meniere's Disease in late 2008 (this is a condition where the ear can over-produce liquid in the semi-circular canals and cause the sensation of imbalance or vertigo). This was an occasional problem I suffered for years, but never knew what it was until I visited Dr.
. This office is very efficient. The wait time is fairly short in the reception area and in the examination room. Dr.
's is friendly, professional and goes out of his way to answer any questions and concerns. Thankfully, I have been able to manage my Meniere's through a lower salt diet recommended by Dr.
. The other option was to take medication similar to blood pressure medicine, but thankfully that option was not necessary. There are a number of ear tests that can be performed in this office, but I do recommend you ask in advance about potential side effects if you have any concerns. I worried needlessly over one of the tests and could have saved myself a lot of trouble had I spoken with the technician in advance. I highly recommend this practice if you have any concerns about your ears or any allergies.

He had to go in and open up my nasal passages, so he had to go in and do some surgery. My experience with him was very good. It took a while to get in to see him. It did not take that long to get the surgery scheduled. Surgery went well. He has a very good bedside manner, good followup, and good staff. The effectiveness of the treatment has been great. I would absolutely visit them again in the future.

Dr.
Atlanta Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
's an amazing doctor. He explored non-surgurical treatment instead of jumping into an outrageous operation. He told me I had to earn my way into his operating room. He also didn't jump to antibiotics for a solution. All of this really impressed me.

Overall, everything was wonderful. The doctor was extremely personable and considerate to the way I was feeling. They are genuinely concerned about the patients and don't treat them like numbers.

I have been a patient of Dr.
Atlanta Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
's for about 5 years. If she is going to be graded on her positive and pleasant personality, she would get the highest of

. I think this is why I kept going back to her (really a stupid reason to put your health in that doctor's care). I have had a "plugged" ear that affected my hearing for about a year. She performed several tests, including a hearing test, and could not find anything. Then she scheduled me for an allergy test to see if an allergy might be creating my hearing loss. I asked for an MRI, so she prescribed this test for me. The test was done on the Monday morning before Christmas - which was on Friday. The MRI clinic sent the test results to her the next day. On Wednesday afternoon I called Dr.
Atlanta Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
's office to get the results and had to leave a message for her to call me wih the results. I was told at that time that she was leaving on a trip the next day and would only be in the office until 11:00 on Thursday. I called in the morning and left another message with my cell phone and home phone numbers. At 1:40 a message was left on my cell phone from Dr.

's assistant - that she would be in the office for the next 20 minutes and then would be leaving for the Christmas holiday. If I did not call back in 20 minutes, she added that she would call me on Monday with the MRI test results. This is a brain scan we're talking about, not the results of a tooth x-

! I got my cell phone message at 2:10 and tried to call, but the office was closed. All I could think of was that if the 2 MRI's (one for the throat area and one for my skull) were clear, she would have left that information. On Monday morning I called and spoke with the assistant, and she said the MRI's were clear - no tumors. Having the tests hanging over my head made for a very long weekend and difficult Christmas. When I finally spoke with Dr.

at the end of the day on Monday, I told her about the way her assistant left me hanging with the MRI results. There was no apology. She reiterated that I was fine. When I told her that my hearing is still not good - specifically when I am talking myself - she said that she should do an additional hearing test. (The symptoms I described to her were exactly what I described a couple weeks earlier.) I got on the internet and researched my hearing symptoms, and learned about the type of specialist beyond an ENT. So I made an appointment with Dr.

in Atlanta. He listened carefully, took my complete history, then had me take several technical hearing tests in his office. Dr.

diagnosed Meniere's Disease. This is not a good prognosis, but at least I know what I'm dealing with. I am grateful to at least have something to work off of. 'Will research several highly respected hearing hospitals and doctors in the country and go for a couple additional opinions. Meniere's Disease is incurable, but apparently many doctors have different approaches to the treatment options. But I'm grateful to Dr.

goes, I wouldn't go to her again.

Office staff are helpful and efficient, and the doctor seemed like a nice guy. There is adequate parking, but it is across from
Atlanta Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
, and is not cheap. I don't think there was a real will to deal with the underlying issues of my case. I expect all the testing will cost a great deal for me and my insurance company, and I have no suggested treatment or improvement to show for it.

Dr. Delguadio was 50 minutes late for my appointment. He was an hour and a half late to the two people in front of me. The staff was unhelpful, and didn't update the sign out front which said he was "on time". Each of us in turn had to go up and ask when we'd be seen, and the person at the front desk would go back and return with no information. When Dr. Delguadio finally did see me, he didn't apologize for being late. He was entirely dismissive of me. He looked in my sinuses and said they looked "great". My sinus and eye pain was so severe that I'd been to three doctors in the past four days and each one said that they looked inflamed and congested, but Dr. Delguadio insisted after a 10-second inspection that they looked "GREAT" as if that was the end of the story. I had gotten a CT scan a couple years ago which showed no obstruction, which he took to mean that I had no sinus problems. I had a wealth of information to tell him about my legion of allergies and all the many things I tried over the years, but he only gave me a couple minutes of time, dismissing everything I brought up as if he was in a hurry to be rid of me. He said it was probably migraine, even though my symptoms didn't fit very well (no light or sound sensitivity, no

, no "attacks" because the pain is constant, little to no relief from migraine medication, no nausea, etc etc). But that didn't matter - he just wanted to move on. He'd already dismissed me. And even if he is right - if this isn't caused by sinus issues, he sure didn't convince me of it, and he did NOT treat me well or give me the attention I deserved. I do not recommend this doctor.
