Dog Training Reviews in Atlanta

I wish I'd known about them years ago! I have two German
Dogs. I originally found
when my older dog had a serious illness and went from spending most of her time outside to most inside. I needed to find a trainer to help my unruly younger dog be able to spend more time inside, and Zsolt was an answer to prayer. Zsolt trained while he performed an evaluation. I was impressed with the way he gently corrected
while we talked. He wanted to see exactly where
spends his time and how he acts, which
to great results. Although I would not have believed it,
's behavior changed within 15 minutes of meeting Zsolt. After only one visit, I feel like I have a new dog!
is calm and well-behaved, and when he gets overexcited, we know just what to do to calm him down again. Zsolt also recommended hiring a dog walker for him, and although he didn't push the
service, I didn't (and wouldn't) consider anyone else. Tad has been walking
for 3 weeks now, and he's wonderful.
(who's always been a little skittish) absolutely LOVES Tad and going for a walk with him (and his adorable dog
), and he comes back tired and happy. Best of all, Tad texts me before each visit so I know exactly when he'll come by, and whenever
does something worth mentioning, he texts or calls me to let me know. I know that
is in excellent hands.
(who owns
) is quick to respond to calls and emails. He really cares about the animals his company serves, and that's the first thing that won me over. Every contact with
, Zsolt, Tad, and
(another trainer who came to help make the introduction to Tad and his dog
) has been phenomenal. My dogs are happy, my family is happy, and I am thrilled that we finally found out about
. They're fantastic!

has helped tremendously with my dog's behavioral problems. She's patient, very knowledgeable, and offers private help as well as reasonably priced classes through the Atlanta Humane Society.

Dog Training reviews in Atlanta

The class was great. The instructor was patient with all of the dogs; the class was full of lab mixes that were full of energy, and the instructor still managed to keep all of us in line. She also was great with spending individual time with us when our dog was having trouble with a particular command. My dog came out of the experience understanding basic commands (hand signal and voice commands), and I also learned the methods that I can use to teach him other commands in the future.

This was a great training class. We all learned so much. Our puppy loved it and by the end, he could sit, lie down, roll over, wait, touch, look (make eye contact), wait, stay, and more successfully walk on a loose leash. He was housetrained during this period. We were given tips and advice about problems specific to our dog and given handouts and homework assignments that were helpful and not overwhelming for each class.
Class size was small. Training style is positive reinforcement based and makes sense to dogs and humans.

really knows what they are doing when it comes to teaching dogs and people. We also really like that they are involved in the community and volunteer with Pets for Life. They offer seminars and teach the trainer classes and have good training certifications. They are some of the best dog trainers I have ever met. I was hesitant to put my dog in just any obedience class as I wanted him to have a good experience and for his personality to be enhanced, not "corrected." He loved class so much and definitely knew when it was time to go to class.
We liked that they teach at multiple locations so that we could pick the one that was most convenient to us.
We liked class so much that we are now signed up for the next level of class with

. It is equally good and the highlight of our week and of course our puppy's week. So glad we found them! They were exactly what we were looking for. They have made our life and our puppy's life so much better!

This was a wonderful experience the staff at Dogaroo is great! They work with very qualified Dog Trainers from Jabula Dogs and the puppy socialization is extremely well supervised by staff members of both group who provide helpful tips and valuable information. The first time we went, our puppy was terrified of the building, the people, the situation, and the other puppies. He is a small dog, and we felt it was extremely important for him to learn to interact with all other types and sizes of dogs in a safe environment during this critical period of development. By the time he outgrew puppy socialization class he was whining in excitement whenever we pulled up. We would not hesitate to leave him here for boarding or daycare if he needs this service.
We liked that they required all of the puppies to have appropriate vaccines and made sure that the dogs there were appropriate and not dangerous. We made some good friends from puppy hour.
We wish they had a puppy hour for big dogs :) and their people.

came out for a consultation and to meet my dog. He set up a time to come and pick him up and my dog stayed with him for two weeks while

is wonderful.

taught the class that I took my puppy to and she was always available to help! My pup is that extreme kind of smart, the sort that causes him to get bored easily and thus gets into all kinds of mischief, and

was always willing to give me extra exercises to help keep him occupied. For instance, he learned quickly that the "come" command meant if he ran up to me, that he would get a treat. My dog's solution? Run up to Dad, sit long enough to get the treat, then run away promptly and play the "chase me" game until Dad says "come" again at which point I will run up and get a treat once more. She immediately gave me a way to work with him on that and its been wonderful. The style of training is positive reinforcement, so there are no evil collars that harm your dog, no hitting of your dog, and no negativity at all actually. Their training methods work wonders! My dog is a

inu, notoriously difficult dogs to train, and after taking the classes and doing the homework they gave (which is of VITAL importance) my dog behaves much better than he did, prior to taking the six week course. They start basic and work up to more difficult obedience, so any level of pup or adult dog would be great for this class. I'm looking forward to taking more classes with
