"I greatly appreciated that Dr. was willing to accept me as a new patient when I moved to Asheville. Few other physicians were. During two office visits she was patient, courteous, and appeared knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help negotiate with my insurance provider to obtain a drug she prescribed. My only complaint was that some office workers and nurses insisted on calling me "honey" or "dearie" instead of my name. To a non-Southerner, that can be very irritating and demeaning."

"Dr. is a very good doctor. He is very thorough. He takes the time with his patients to tell them why or why not they should be or not be on a particular medication. He is kind, caring and considerate about how the other person feels. He is all around and is a really nice family type of guy. My friend went to his office and saw another doctor on Friday. I would use his services in the future too. He is a very good doctor in Asheville and is concerned about the patients. He doesn?t treat the patients just for money. "

"We were so sorry to Dr. . She was the best primary care doctor I've ever had; and she was a good friend as well, always listening carefully and patiently to whatever I had to say. She helped me through many stages of my life during the time I was in her care. She is extremely knowledgeable and informed of new techniques and approaches to conditions. I was very sorry to have to say goodbye to her."

"Dr. Topple is thorough, kind, and knowledgable. The only minor complaint I have is I feel sometimes she's in a bit of a time crunch - but I believe that is commonplace for most family physicians. If I come prepared with a list of concerns, we have always had enough time to address everything, and do bloodwork if that's indicated."

"Overall, without question, we both were totally happy with Dr. and his care of us. He was so easy to talk to and we actually became more like friends than patients. Unfortunately, in 2009, the practice where he worked was dropped from our insurance "network". Then, in 2010, Dr. left the practice and moved to another local practice. The new practice is likewise not in our insurance network. We are thinking of continuing with him anyway. He is really what one wants in a doctor. Someone who really cares, seems to keep up with the latest medical information, helps the needy, and will listen as long as necessary even if the talk has nothing to do with the appointment (like when my husband and I were involved in a serious car accident and my husband was almost killed - I talked it out for probably an hour). He's also got a great sense of humor. "
