Mike LaFollette

Mike LaFollette joined the Angie’s List online team in July of 2011 as an editor and reporter. He covers a variety of home improvement, repair and landscaping topics. LaFollette is a graduate of Indiana University and received degrees in journalism and secondary education. Before joining the List, his odd professional career included working as a mechanical designer for an engineering firm, covering Justin Bieber (not by choice) for an online publication and teaching algebra to middle schoolers. LaFollette is stuck in the 1980s because he still owns mostly VHS tapes, plays only original Nintendo games and has never used a smart phone. He spends his free time gardening, cooking and playing guitar in a rock band.
