Emily Udell

Emily Udell is a senior writer/editor at Angie’s List Magazine. She joined the company in 2009 after working in the daily news business. A Windy City-area native, Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Her professional experience includes stints with a diversity of media outlets, including the Associated Press, the Louisville Courier-Journal, Radio Prague and Punk Planet magazine. When not writing and editing for Angie’s List Magazine, Emily practices her hip checks with the Circle City Derby Girls, a women’s flat-track roller derby league.
