Worcester company, customer work to resolve stucco issues
COMPLAINT: Lynn Pieczarka, Worcester, Mass.
"I hired Royal Thermal View Inc. of Mendon, Mass., to remove old siding and stucco, and install vinyl siding and a replacement window. The problems started when they began work on the stucco. They crushed my shrubs under layers of cement, the trash bin left two holes in my driveway and debris is still not completely gone from my yard. The workers brought in to demolish the stucco were not experienced enough to know they were exposing gaps between my foundation and the sill. Eventually, my pipes froze. Once the stucco was completely removed, it was apparent I needed my porch rebuilt. Nearly six months later, the project still isn't done. I have no porch railings. I have a lengthy list of items that need to be fixed or completed, including the holes in my driveway. I have called and emailed them repeatedly with no resolution."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "Complete the work as agreed upon and address the list of items damaged."
