Wood rot on window left behind, homeowner claims
COMPLAINT: Joseph Putnam, Apex, N.C.
"Miller Renovations Inc. Rotted Wood Specialist in Apex didn't complete all of the agreed upon work, and some of the work J.C. Miller did was terrible. The wood rot around the front window wasn't repaired but was caulked and painted over to look repaired. Trim above the front door wasn't repaired at all, even though Miller said he repaired it, and the board on the Palladian window that I was most concerned about wasn't sanded well and looks just as bad as it did before. My wife and I left several voice mail messages and e-mails over a month's time. We never heard back and will have to hire someone else to repair what he did and didn't do, but was paid for."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want to be reimbursed $325."
