COMPLAINT: Charles Manilla, West Chester, Ohio
"Last year, Weatherguard Inc. replaced my roof. [Before the work] I had chronic leaks around my fireplace and chimney. The new roof looks great but about nine months after the installation, it started to leak in the same place.
"The original salesman advised installing a saddle behind the chimney due to the roof's steep slope. The saddle was supposed to divert the water and stop the leaks but they didn't install it. They said to call them if the roof leaked. I've tried to reach them with no success. They charged me for the saddle that was never installed and [its absence] may be the source of the water leaks."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want this situation resolved to my total satisfaction."
STATUS: Penalty Box
