Vacuum's life extended by St. Louis appliance repair shop

Cynthia Zirwes extended her elderly appliance's life, saving it from retiring to the landfill.

"I took my 14-year-old vacuum cleaner in for repairs," Zirwes says. "I was unsure if it could be repaired, but the experience at this shop was positive all around. The employees made three repairs, including creating a new filter the manufacturer no longer makes. Now my vacuum works like new, and I plan to have it for some time longer."
