Tree service gives homeowner the brushoff

COMPLAINT: Lisa Siegrist, Annandale, Va.

"I hired Tony Weakley's Tree and Home Improvement of Madison, Va. to cut down a mid-size tree in my front yard that had been damaged in a storm. Owner Tony Weakley piled up the cut-up tree between the curb and sidewalk and told me that the county was picking up yard debris because so many trees had come down. He said he'd come out and shred it if the county didn't come. The county didn't come, and we've called Weakley countless times. Initially he said his chipper was broken and he'd come out when it was fixed in a day or two, but now he doesn't respond to my phone calls."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: To compensate me for the $175 I paid to have the brush removed.
