Reston dentists provide comfort, one-stop shop
Reston, Va., member Bill Radcliff avoided dentists for several years until visiting the Reston location of Fusion Dental in April 2012. He’s returned three times since, for crown placement, a biannual checkup and a fillings replacement, and says he’s found his new dentist. “They’re really concerned with making sure you’re comfortable,” says Radcliff, who visits Dr. Stephen Belmonte, a general dentist.
Fusion Dental’s Reston location employs about 100 staff members, including 19 dentists, and takes pride in its one-stop-shop approach.
“We’re a multi-specialty practice group, and we have all dental specialties under one roof,” says Dr. Kathleen Dillon, who joined Fusion in 1998. “We’re able to do things you can’t do at a small dental practice.”
Fusion, which also operates six other D.C.-area locations, won Super Service Awards in general dentistry in 2011 and 2012 and also won an SSA in cosmetic dentistry in 2012.
Dr. Michael Little, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, says a personal approach alleviates the distant feeling a large practice could provide. “I call every person who’s had a procedure with me [afterward],” he says.
