Patients go the extra mile for Texas Dental treatments
Member Rishi Bhattacharya avoided dentists for more than a decade after suffering painful dental experiences following a bike wreck earlier in his life. But increasing pain finally prompted him to contact Texas Dental in January. Dr. Wilson Lo allayed his concerns by explaining the cause of his pain and performing a root canal and tooth extraction.
Bhattacharya’s experience was so positive that even though he recently moved from White Rock Lake to San Diego, he’ll continue going to Texas Dental, which has received 18 Page of Happiness nominations since 2010. “Now that I’ve found a good dentist, I’m going to keep him,” he says. Bhattacharya isn’t the only patient who thinks Lo is worth going the extra mile for; another one flies in from Arizona to see him.
Lo says his practice, made up of 20 employees, tries to provide an effective experience for each patient. “My main concern isn’t just to do a good job, but to blow them away.”
North Dallas member Lyn DeShazo was grateful to Texas Dental when they squeezed her in for cosmetic services prior to a job interview. Although the job was put on hold, DeShazo says Texas Dental improved her smile and justified the whole experience. “I can smile confidently now,” she says.
