Taxi cab service accused of bilking Ann Arbor man

I made an appointment to take the Yellow Cab shuttle from Ann Arbor to and from Metro airport but then didn't need a ride home. I didn't call them to come pick me up, which they told me to do, but they still charged me for the ride home.
When I called to tell them they charged me for a service they never delivered, they said they told me about their cancellation policy, which I don't remember.
I looked at their website and couldn't find mention of the cancellation policy. In the end, they said I'd get half off my next ride with them.
I think I'll give some of the other higher-rated companies on Angie's List a chance for my next ride.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I'd like a refund of $34.

When scheduling a ride or service, there's a two-hour cancellation policy. This member didn't attempt to contact us.
The driver, dispatching personnel, and others were inconvenienced because of his inability to follow program rules. All policies were thoroughly explained, and he confirmed it when setting up the service.
