Tardy stove repair leaves customer fuming

COMPLAINT: Kirsten Newbury, Lake Oswego, Ore.
"The service technicians from Fieldpro Appliance Repair & Installation in Portland [Ore.] did a good job repairing the pop-up vent on my stove that stopped working. They were held up by other jobs and arrived significantly later than the three-hour window they estimated, during which I had planned to be away from work.
"As I was waiting, I called and complained to the company about the late arrival, hoping to work something out with them. Instead, two weeks later, the company president sent me an unprofessional e-mail. I should have paid more attention to the other reports of late service."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want a $50 refund."
