Stucco repair company accused of fraud by Columbus homeowner
COMPLAINT: Paul Tela, Dublin, Ohio
"Scott McLaughlin, owner of McLaughlin Stucco & Repair, submitted a proposal to remove and repair stucco on the side of my garage. He came out himself to do the estimate, which he agreed to do for $850.
"I gave him a $300 deposit. He took the deposit check, cashed it and never returned to do the work. He has also never responded to my calls. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about him without any resolution.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want back my $300 deposit."
