Didn't respond to Rachel Feigelman's complaint about damage she says was caused by a faulty refrigerator.
COMPLAINT: Richard Beaupre, St. Petersburg, Fla.
"I hired Gulf to Bay Fence Inc. to install a wood privacy fence. From a distance, the fence looks fine. But when you look at the detail work, you can see the installation is lacking.
"The areas that required carpentry skills, such as connection to the existing fence or box-out for the trees, were done poorly. As a result, the fence is less durable.
"The installer also didn't continue the fence all the way to the property line as instructed. When I asked the salesman about this, he responded that they don't do a lot of wood fence installations. Unfortunately, he didn't mention that when he submitted his bid."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like them to redo the areas that were done poorly. I would prefer the original installer not do the repairs."
STATUS: Resolved
Editor's note: Gulf to Bay Fence Inc. completed the repairs.
