COMPLAINT: William Graham, Mukilteo, Wash.
"Eco Sure Pest Control had a representative in the neighborhood selling pest control treatments for $39.
"The person failed to tell me this was the first of five more required treatments for $99 every three months. The company applied the treatment, but misrepresented the cost details, which were buried in a document.
"I contacted the Federal Trade Commission with regard to the federal requirement for companies to provide a three-day rescission period, stating the salesperson who sold the treatment must tell me about the right to cancel the agreement and provide two copies of the cancellation form.
"This is a little known federal requirement and can be found at the FTC website."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want them to drop my contract."
STATUS: Penalty Box
