Termites and wood rot were to blame for the damage to Karen van Dyke's backyard fence. "Bill [Jungers, owner] knows his stuff about fencing, and does an excellent job for a fair price," van Dyke says.
"He replaced the chewed up boards and moved 10 existing ones from the fence behind the shed. That way, the boards all looked the same. He also installed three stainless steel poles to keep the side fence sturdy."
