COMPLAINT: Jenny Chen, San Diego

"I called Low Rates Appliance Repair to repair my refrigerator. I agreed to pay them $45 to defrost it. After they left, I realized the refrigerator wasn't defrosted. I even waited for a few hours and the refrigerator was as warm as before."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want a $45 refund."

"The customer OK'd the repair and [then] declined it after we started taking the unit apart. She only paid a service fee of $45 for diagnosis. She can't request to have a technician come back to defrost her refrigerator."
