COMPLAINT: Loran Anderson, Beaverton, Ore.
"I contracted with Evans Glass to purchase storm windows and doors.
The agreement was that if I purchased $3,000 worth of windows up front, they would keep the original quoted price when I wanted to order the rest of the windows. I gave them a deposit of $1,000.
I didn't hear from them for a while. I finally called a few months later to ask where they were, and they said they'd be out to do the work.
They came out, but the product they were going to install wasn't what I ordered. They left and said they'd be back, but I didn't hear from them again.
I finally went to their office and demanded an answer to what was going on. The manager later called and said he'd give the $1,000 deposit back and I could move on.
I still haven't received the $1,000 check after numerous phone calls."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want the $1,000 refund."
STATUS: Resolved
