Description of plumbing work: "Jorge [Lopez, plumber], from Kennedy Plumbing fixed my leaky toilet and a leaking outdoor spigot; installed new 2-inch trap to my washer discharge pipe and snaked 26 feet to clean out my clogged drain. This involved cutting out the Sheetrock behind the washer and dryer, and putting everything back together upon completion.
"He also inspected all the pipes in my house, which was built in 1952, to see if they need to be replaced."
Member comments: "I asked Jorge to complete an inspection of my old galvanized plumbing system. He said they may need to be replaced in five or six years, but that he could discern no immediate issues. This kind of honesty is what I have come to expect of him.
"I asked him to come back to fix the washing machine. The pipes at the back of the machine overflowed everytime I ran it. He told me what the cost would be, and he was right on. By the time he left, my toilet was working, the washing machine was no longer spewing water and the outdoor spigot was no longer leaking. I'm happy I don't have to shell out thousands of dollars for complete pipe replacement in my home."
