Portland homeowner claims out-of-level fridge installed

COMPLAINT: Danielle Aust, Oregon City, Ore.

"I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Sears [18000 SE 82nd Ave., Portland]. The delivery was supposed to include leveling and installation, minus the water line, but I noticed the fridge was out of level by 1/4 of an inch.

"After three phone calls to Sears, I still hadn't heard anything back. Then I was told the only thing they could do was schedule a repair appointment, which required a four-hour window.

"The repairman said the refrigerator was "too new" and he didn't know how to level it. After I contacted Samsung directly, they were not able to help me either.

"After some research, I was finally able to figure out how to level it myself, which has made the door stay open properly. However, the delivery service I purchased from Sears was to include the delivery and setup of the appliance, which never happened.

DESIRED RESOLUTION:  I would like a refund of $75 for Sears' delivery and installation fee.
