Phoenix company gets rid of Africanized bees
Africanized bees are often referred to as killer bees because they're more aggressive and more likely to defend their hives, attacking if necessary.
Africanized bees resulted from the breeding of African and European honey bees after bees from 26 colonies were accidentally released near Sao Paulo, Brazil, where they'd been brought for a biologist's attempt to breed a strain of bees that would be more tolerant of the tropical climate.

Description of work "I had a colony of bees living in the block walls of my home. I didn't know if they were Africanized or not. Steve [Jaggers, the owner] confirmed that they were. The bees had found two small openings in the cinder block that were drilled years ago for an electrical outlet. Evidently, the loose insulation in the block had fallen out the bottom hole, leaving a nice open area for the bees to build their hive. They needed to be either moved or exterminated. I went to Angie's List and began looking for a bee person and found Steve at No Bugs Allowed Bee Removal."
Member comments "The job went beautifully. Steve arrived when he said he would and quickly got rid of the bees - and at a price that was $20 less than the quote. He said it was a very simple job and didn't take much time. He couldn't remove the hive since the queen was there, and they had an active comb he couldn't get out without tearing into the wall. His only option was to dust the hive. He even told the neighbor what he was doing and advised him to keep an eye open for any bees that might be angry during the dusting. All in all, I was extremely happy with the job and especially happy with the price."
