John Mellencamp sings of "little pink houses for you and me," but a Tudor-style pink house carried no novelty for Brian Viehland of Trenton, N.J. He bought it with the intention of painting it as soon as possible. Even his neighbors were weary of the block's lone pink presence. "They offered to come over and bring their brushes," says Viehland.
Homepainters of Pennington, N.J., won the bid and finished the job in four days. "When they were done, they had my wife and I walk around the entire house to check that everything was satisfactory. When I saw a couple of small items I wanted touched up, they did it immediately and completely. The guys were very nice and worked very hard."
