Peeling paint prompts Rosewell homeowner complaint

COMPLAINT: Wendy Jackson, Roswell, Ga.

"Panda Painting of Atlanta painted the exterior of my home. The paint is peeling, chipping and blistering on the porch. The siding was damaged by the pressure washer, and they painted over wet siding.

"They came back when I complained but still missed many of the problems and put "band-aids" on the problems they worked on. I now have a home that needs siding replaced and needs to be completely repainted, which will cost more than what was quoted from Panda to begin with.

"I also still have rotten wood that wasn't replaced and paint overspray on roof shingles."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want them to remove the lien [they placed] on my house."

"This is the first time we've had a customer refuse payment at the end of a job. We maintain that we are still willing to fix any "problems" with the job."

STATUS: Stalemate
