NY contractor adds quality to whole house

SGC 24-7 Inc. | New Rochelle, N.Y.

What started out as a roof replacement quickly turned to a satisfactory whole-house remodel for homeowner Maria Consolo.

"Initially, this started out as a roof replacement, but once they removed the roof, we had to start a renovation on the loft area," Consolo says. "It required mold removal, new framing, electrical, plumbing, new wires and vent lines that had to be relocated once they were repaired."

Consolo goes on to say that SGC's quality work convinced her to make home improvements in other areas, too.

"While the main house was being worked on in such solid workmanlike manner we decided to start repairing other areas of our home," she says. "The concrete walls and sidewalks had to be repaired, as well as leaks in our basement. The team of men from SGC 24-7 had such a vast knowledge in all aspects of construction they helped us to understand what was being repaired, why it was in need of repair and, mostly and more importantly, the cost."

Consolo also mentions that along with the quality work, the crew's positive attitudes made the $25,000 worth of work a worthwhile investment. "The men were always courteous and a pleasure to have around, and the job was brought in on time and budget," she says. "They simply are the best contractor I've had the pleasure of working with."
