COMPLAINT: William Sander, Noblesville, Ind.
"I traded in my vehicle and purchased a truck from Dealer Auto Outlet. They informed me that everything was fine with the truck, but I later found out it had five recalls that hadn't been addressed.
"In addition, its transmission failed four days after I purchased it. They told me to bring it back so they could repair the transmission. They told me it'd be repaired in one day; but it took more than three days and they did not provide me with any transportation, so I missed work.
"Now, after missing two payments, Dealer Auto Outlet repossessed the truck with my belongings in it, including my clothes, guitar and cell phone.
"They told me to come to the shop and I could get my items, but once I arrived they told me it'd cost $311 - the cost of the towing - to get them."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "They can do whatever they want with the truck. I want my car and my items back."
STATUS: Penalty Box
