"Engle Brothers Carpentry designed a layout for additions to my home. The did all the carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, installed a wood floor, and reroofed the area over the renovation.

Hasn't responded to Virginia Brudie's request for a refund for bathtub refinishing she says was inadequate. Third month in the box.
Four of Kind Contracting
Failed to honor their promise to complete construction for a second-story addition to Joseph Neri's home. Second month in the box.
CMS Custom Builders
Didn't refund 50 percent of Rich Scuteri's deposit, which they took for work that they never started. Second month in the box.
William Dolan Roofing Co. Inc.
Didn't return Joan McSherry's phone calls requesting for the company to repair loose gutter miters they installed. Second month in the box.
Noah's Waterproofing
Failed to respond to Regina Sinofsky's refund requests after she says they damaged her new driveway. First month in the box.
6th Avenue Electronics
Didn't respond to Meghan Wicks' complaint that they were rude and wouldn't honor her camera's one-year warranty. First month in the box.
Engle Brothers Carpentry
Didn't respond to Maria Venuto's complaint that their roofing work allowed rainwater to cause extensive water damage to her home. First month in the box.
Although there were some minor problems, the work was fine overall. I had a small, existing leak in the roof where they were remodeling. They suggested they could fix it by replacing the roof over that area, but the work was a fiasco.
They stripped the roof before they had the shingles, and a rainstorm caused significant damage to myour ceiling, floor and the new work. They took a little off the price for the damage, but ultimately the roof was never right.
I've had continual leaks, and I have to put buckets out every rainstorm. They came back on a couple of occasions, but never fixed it. I have a patchwork of mismatched shingles on my roof."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like a $2,900 refund."
STATUS: Penalty box
