Phoenix moving complaint
COMPLAINT: Cheresa Lourens, Cedar Park, Texas
"Champion Moving and Storage's truck broke down, and they replaced it with a smaller truck that wouldn't fit all my things. They tried to force all the furniture into the truck and damaged lots of it, as well as my car, in the process.
"They sent me a claim form, which I filled out and faxed to them. They've told me twice they've sent a check, but nothing's come to me. The claim is more than $1,000.
"I paid insurance when they moved me, which would pay for any damages, but they haven't paid a cent."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like them to respond to my claim and pay for the damage."
STATUS: Penalty Box
Tempe TV repair complaint
COMPLAINT: Regina Cottrell, Chandler
"Walt's TV and Home Theater came to repair my TV. They commented on its age and tried to sell me a new one. They didn't fix it, but when they unplugged my DVD player, they broke the connector housing.
"When I contacted the company a few days later - after I noticed the DVD player wasn't working - they immediately denied it and said they weren't responsible."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like a refund within 30 days for the repair cost of $107.67."
STATUS: Resolved
