COMPLAINT: Michael Byers, Noblesville, Ind.
"I bought a new car from Infiniti Gold Coast. I rented a car and drove from the Indianapolis area to pick it up. When I arrived, there was damage to the rear bumper. They said they'd repair it and I could drive the car home in three to four days.
"I paid for the car in full. I was given a loaner car and drove home. I have been trying to get my car ever since. I'm not sure what happened. Infiniti Consumer Affairs confirms they have the car, but they need paperwork from the dealer to release it. My documentation of payment isn't enough.
"The dealer says his lawyers are working on it. I also have paperwork for an extended warranty and service contract for a car I don't possess. They no longer answer the phone, and Joe Abbas, the owner, no longer returns my calls."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want my money refunded. If that's not possible, I want the car I purchased."
STATUS: Penalty Box
