COMPLAINT: Victoria Zima, Milwaukee

"I hired Mike's Tile & Grout Restoration LLC to install our kitchen tile, and they did a great job. So, we set up a time for them to come out and clean the tile. But their machine actually made the floor worse.

"I paid $200 for the cleaning and I assumed they would come back and fix it. The chemicals from the cleaning even stained my brand-new range, which was less than six months old at the time of the cleaning. I called several times for them to come back out and clean the floor but kept getting put off.

"At first they didn't cash the check I gave them, so I thought they were actually going to come back and repair the damages. They've since cashed the check but have not come back out. I ended up having to call someone else to clean the floor because I was having company over for a party.

"They've had more than a month to rectify the situation, and we've gotten no satisfaction. We're out $200 and have been offered no solution for the stains on my range."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like my $200 back and for the range door to be cleared of stains. If the stains can't be removed, I would like a new door panel, plus whatever labor, taxes and shipping expenses are required."
