Virginia Flaherty: "Rekey locks, cut keys, repair locks, move and open safes and service master-key locks."
Damon Dittmar: "Rekeys, master-key systems, automotive keys, safes, access control systems and closed-circuit television systems for monitoring."
David Loveless: "We rekey people's locks, make keys and rekey locks for businesses."

Are there any types of jobs you won't do?
Flaherty: We don't do cars, and we aren't open 24 hours."
Dittmar: "After hours or weekends."
Loveless: "Alarms."
How do you charge?
Flaherty: "By the job. There's sometimes a travel charge."
Dittmar: "By the job."
Loveless: "Per job."
What's the average fee for customers locked out of their house, their car or their safe?
Flaherty: "Homes are usually $60 to $75; Safes are $150 to $300, depending on the safe."
Dittmar: "Homes are $100; cars are $65; and safes are $250."
Loveless: "Homes are $60; cars are $60; and safes cost anywhere from $100 to $300."
Before you start a job, do you require some type of identification?
Flaherty: "For a lockout, we require ID."
Dittmar: "If it looks funny, we'll walk away."
Loveless: "Yes."
Is there a problem with phony/ dishonest locksmiths in your area?
Flaherty: "Big time - people come in with the saddest stories of locksmiths who have ripped them off."
Dittmar: "It's a big problem. Ask if they have a shop you can visit and avoid just calling numbers from stickers on your doors. Go to your local locksmith to get your keys cut."
Loveless: "There's a problem with unlicensed locksmiths and some who may keep your key and sell it to someone later."
