Angie's List member Mirko Glavanovic turned to home remodeler Aleksandar Markovic of Lyons, Ill.,for a major basement overhaul.

“The project included lowering the basement by a foot, doing waterproofing with an interior French drain system, a new sewer, rerouting existing plumbing and adding a new bathroom,” Glavanovic says.

“He was very responsive to my needs and time line and all the requests and changes that I have thrown at him. I was looking for a quality work at a reasonable price and that is exactly what I got.”

Markovic quoted the project at $40,000 and did not go over budget. Glavanovic says he is thrilled with the completed project, and he applauds Markovic’s professionalism.

“He was easy to deal with, his communication skills are excellent and the most important thing was that he was honest and trustworthy. I was happy with his knowledge of codes and procedures in all aspects of the project. I would highly recommend him and will personally use him again for other projects. Excellent work,” he says.
