Angie's List members turned to the List 3,801 times during 2010 to find highly rated Los Angeles carpet cleaning companies.

Member Julia Peacock recently used the List to find a cleaner to freshen up the carpeting in her family room, living room, dining room, entry way, stairs and hallway.

She called Crystal Clean Chemdry of Riverside, Calif., with her list of rooms and one special request.

"I clearly explained all I needed, four rooms with one having latex paint spilled on the floor, including high traffic areas and the stairs," she says.

A representative from Crystal Clean quoted her a price of $200 "and was very clear that the latex paint might not all come out, which I assumed anyway," she says. "He scheduled my appointment there on the phone for just two days out."

Peacock says she was surprised that all her carpeting - including the paint stained one - looked like new, thanks to Crystal Clean, who even cleaned her upstairs hallway at no extra cost.

"If I'm not fortunate enough to get my hardwood floors in the next six months, I will definitely and only call [Crystal Clean Chemdry]," she says.
