Los Angeles area carpet cleaners tell what stain-removal methods to avoid

Two highly rated carpet cleaners in the Los Angeles area tell homeowners what to avoid when cleaning their carpets.

“I would say anything that has a real soapy residue.” – Jim Tabolsky, owner of highly rated Regent Carpet Care, Inc. in Van Nuys, Calif. Tabolsky says his cleaning team uses truck-mounted steam equipment.

"They shouldn’t use stuff that has a lot of residue because it will attract dirt.” – James Cubias, owner of highly rated Valley Carpet Cleaning in Granada Hills, Calif. Cubias says it usually takes four to six hours for carpets to dry after cleaning.
