COMPLAINT: Edward Dawson, Campbell, Calif.

"I hired Wemco Landscapes of Alviso [Calif.] for landscape work. The sprinklers leave the lawn with a dead patch in one place and soggy in others. There are deep troughs in the lawn where the irrigation pipes were laid. Four or five new plants died because they forgot to give them the drip irrigation I paid for. They promise they'll fix things, but I can't get them to do so."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "Fix lawn sprinklers, level lawn where trenches formed, and install drip irrigation."
