COMPLAINT: Louis Voerman, Cary, N.C.

"I hired KLC Landscaping to install a fence, and do some landscaping including sod, plants and mulch.

"The base service was OK, but they did not finish the work and acknowledged that there was more work to do, including repair to an irrigation line, sodding around the fence and applying weed killer to a mulched area where grass is growing.

"They will not return phone calls and I also suspect the one year warranty on my plants is worthless since I can't get in touch with them."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want them to finish the work."

"The member has contacted us a few times about adding sod to entrance of fence gate and I agreed to install a few more rolls of sod. This should have been done within a few weeks of his call.

"The other services that Lou has asked for in this complaint are new to me and were never brought up in our conversations. We will honor any issue with the work we installed.

"There are a few issues spoken of in this complaint that have nothing to do with the install that we did. We were not hired to perform maintenance to control weeds and we didn't service or install drip irrigation in the front yard."
