Kansas City pet sitter takes care of cats
"When FatCat was diagnosed with diabetes, as a pharmacist, I knew I could handle it," Minkevich says. "My first concern was how she'd react. Initially, I had to chase and tackle her for every injection - twice a day - so it was pretty time-consuming and stressful for both of us. My other concern was what to do when I went on vacation. I was surprised that Citydog could inject them."

Description of work "Citydog does pet sitting visits for my two cats, including feeding, litter scooping, attempting to entertain them, and most recently, insulin injections for one of them. They also bring in the mail and papers and take out my trash."
Member comments "Sandy [Betts, the owner] and her team do a wonderful job. I don't know what I'd do without them, especially now that one of my cats is diabetic. They take their job very seriously - at the first visit they gathered all sorts of information on my cats. When I found out my cat was diabetic, I was really worried and thought I would have to board her during my next vacation. Sandy instantly said it wasn't a problem at all. They even spent one visit getting my cat out of the chimney, where she'd hidden to escape an insulin shot. That's dedication."
