Infographic: Where are the germs in your house?
Although it's true that the toilet is a germy place, you're actually far more likely to spread germs around when touching common objects like doorknobs, light switches and the remote control for the TV. Sponges, toothbrush holders and kitchen sinks are the germiest places in the average house. You can avoid spreading germs by cleaning these objects regularly and washing your hands more often. But don't over-use antibacterial soaps.
